What are the basic rules of flag football?
April 13th, 2010 | by admin |Please explain! I’ve never played flag football before. I am captain but still don’t really know how to play (as do the rest of my gym class). Basic rules.
HomeRun Hitter Jake, the teacher picks I guess depending on your leadership skills.
How’d you become captain? Everything is the same as football except that you can’t tackle people instead you just try to strip their flag.

its the same thing as football, but the play stops when the person with the ball gets a flag taken off.

same as regular, but no touching. Tossing the ball for the hike. No passing the line of scrimmage, like regular. Usually not as many players than what a high school, college, on NFL team would have of course. Center, Quarterback, Left guard + Right guard and two wide receivers are the only positions; Offense and defense. No punting—only throw-offs. Good luck.

Well if you don’t know this flag football was invented on a military base. The rules are simple all you do is grab the flag of the ball carrier. When the QuarterBack has the football after the center snaps the ball you have to count to 5 Mississippi then go after the QB if he stills has the ball… Very Simple

no contact. no stiff arms. your goal on offense is to try to get a touchdown by advancing the ball to the other side of the field. on defense, your goal is to pull your opponents flag off and stop them from scoring a touchdown.
