the english invented the game, so some person in england 1n 1870ish must of scored i think it was an own goal.

I have a vague memory that it was definitely the english who created it, i think it came up in a quiz saying that the origins were 100’s of years ago when people played a game where they kicked a skull around, i may be wrong thou!

They English may be but, there was a war between English and Dutch but the definitely the winner of the war played foot ball with a skull ,it was continued till some centuries to play with human skull.but even before a game similar to foot Ball was played in south America near today Brazil.
