49ers. They did it the right way. Good coach and good drafts.
Cowboys, same but started getting greedy and went the free agent route for the 3rd title
Steelers, almost all the players were juiced, they need an asterisk
Patriots, cheated like the Steelers, but used cameras instead of steroids.
References :
The Cleveland Browns played for their league championship EVERY year from 1946 through 1955 then made the championship game again in 1957. That is 11 out of 12 years and 10 straight championship game appearances. They won 7 of the 10 straight appearances, The first four were in the AAFC who outdrew the NFL all four years with teams like the SF 49ers, LA Rams, Baltimore Colts, and Buffalo Bills in the league. The last 7 of 8 were in the NFL. If another team can top that (they can't - 4 straight is the 2nd best since NFL formed in 1920) they are better.
References :
I don't know, the 49ers would be a good pick because they won 5 superbowls during the 1980-early 1990's. My vote would have to be the Steelers because they won 4 superbowls in the 70s with Bradshaw. I also like the packers of the 60's because they had Lombardi and Bart Starr and they won championship's because of them.
But that's just me...
References :
Although I'd love to say the Cowboys, since I am a fan.
I have to go with the 49ers of the 80s for sure.
They dominated practically the entire decade.
References :
The Cowboys in the NFL.

The Crimson Tide in college.

Felicia seems to forget that Oklahoma was playing cow colleges and teams like Iowa back then.
References :
I am split right now. Counting pre-Super Bowl titles; the Packers actually lead the league with nine championships (there was no Super Bowl until after the 1966 season).

However, there was no free agency back then. And there were also fewer teams; meaning they had to overcome fewer opponents.

The recent Patriots dynasty had to deal with free agency and the salary cap; but so did the Cowboys for the last two of their three titles in the 1990's. However, in both the Cowboys and Patriots' case, the core of the team stayed intact.

So I will actually say the Packers. Based on number of titles won.
