regardless of the implications, i still thought it was a better finish. blake gideon drops the interception, harrell drives the team down the field and crabtree makes the best catch of his career.
fluties game was still unbelievable, but the sequence of events, in my opinion, was more enthralling in the texas tech game.

Little history lesson for you pimple-faced 16 year olds out there. 1988 Miami-ND: ND finished year 12-0 & #1. Miami finished 11-1 & #2. This was one of the best national championship games ever………and it was played not even halfway through the season.
