Please explain! I've never played flag football before. I am captain but still don't really know how to play (as do the rest of my gym class). Basic rules.

I am in South America and got hold of a gilbert no.5 rugby union ball because they do not have Aussie rules footballs. It doesn't seem much different, will it be noticeably different to play with?
